With any cosmetic procedure there are some do's and don'ts.

Also, some procedures are not for everyone so please do ask if you are unsure of anything.

Lip Blush & Powder Brows Tattooing

Will My Procedure Be Painful?

A: Any tattooing procedure causes micro trauma to the skin. However, numbing cream is applied to the treatment area to make the process more comfortable. Many Clients say that it is fine.

How Long Will My Appointment Take?

A: Your appointment will be booked in for 2 hours. It is important to note that not all of your appointment is tattooing. Your appointment includes consultation, pre-draw and aftercare.

How Long Will The Treatment Last For?

A: Powder Brows can last for up to 2-3 years and Lip Blush for 3-4 years. It is recommended that you return every 12-18 months for a one-off top up treatment to ensure your brows and/or lips look defined.

Can I Have Lip Blush With Filler?

A: Yes! Lip Blush is the perfect way to define the borders of filled lips. However, you must wait at least 4 weeks after having fillers before having Lip Blush.

Can I Have Powder Brows Over An Older And Different Procedure?

A: Yes! However, you will need to come to the Clinic for a consultation to see if the previous work can be corrected. There will be an additional cost of £20.00 for the consultation. If you book the appointment, your consultation fee will be deducted from the procedure cost.

Can I Choose My Own Colour? (Lip Blush)

A: Yes! We can mix different colours to find the perfect shade for you. Why not bring your preferred lip stick with you and we will recreate it.

How Long Will My Treatment Take To Heal?

A: With all tattooing there will be a short healing time. This is generally 7-14 days.

Non-Suitability For Semi-Permanent Make Up

With any cosmetic procedure there are contra-indicators that will prevent some from having any semi-permanent make up procedure.

Please note that when you attend your appointment, after your consultation you will be required to sign a Client consent form as well as a disclaimer prior to any procedure.

You will not be able to have a semi-permanent make up procedure if you have any of the following:

You are under 18 years of age
Pregnant or nursing
Undergoing chemotherapy
Have hemophilia
Have heart problems or have a pacemaker
Have a history of heloid scarring
Take Accutane or steroids
Take Blood Thinning Medication

Please note that having any semi-permanent treatment during your menstrual cycle can increase sensitivity

Preparing For Your Treatment

To ensure the very best results from your procedure please observe the following:

Stop taking blood thinners (if permissible) such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Fish Oil and Niacin a minimum of 2 days prior to your treatment. Only stop taking any of these medicines if not prescribed by a General Practitioner
Avoid alcohol 48 hours prior to your treatment
Avoid caffeine on the day
Eat before treatment
Wear something warm and comfortable
Take anti-viral medication before procedure if you are prone to cold sores (Lip Blush only) as trauma to the lip can cause a breakout
